Everyone with a smart phone has at one time used Google Maps for directions. The app has come a long ways since it's beginnings. It used to be just a trip planning tool when it was only available on Desktop's connected to the internet. We can now use it actively while on the road going to a new place.

The first piece I'm talking about is the ability to add multiple stops in a single trip. This feature in Google Maps is particularly useful as many people like to get up and stretch after so long sitting in a vehicle unable to move much. That or if in a longer trip you can plan your stops to gas up your vehicle. This next feature is for those roads that for some reason don't have a speed limit posted. It included two more things such as: Tuning in to traffic cams are speed trap warnings. Of course you should only use these features if you one have a fixed mount in your car or you happened to be stopped so you can see ahead and plan your pace accordingly. This last feature I'm talking about is a new feature coming in the hopefully near future. It's for all of you foodies and indecisive or those of us that love to try something new at a new restaurant. Google is calling it the Popular Dishes feature. It pulls information from reviews about the place you're at and shows you the most popular dish and what people have to say about it.
